Before you even think about building a website optimized for one of these keywords – don’t bother. Ranking for keywords like “lawyer” or “loans” is simply impossible.. Just a friendly reminder.
However, there are a few ways of making some good money using these keywords. Here’s what you could do:
1. You could use other traffic sources to get visitors to your Adsense sites. Just make sure it’s quality and qualified traffic.
2. If you are really good with SEO, you could dive into the sub niche of the niche.
In other words, if you are targeting a keyword “lawyer”, you could build a site optimized for a keyword like:
divorce lawyer
Or even better, add cities, states or even years to the keyword, like:
springfield divorce lawyer 2013
You get the idea.
Long tail keywords has less competition, but still pays good money for clicks.
